Fair Play Award

Throughout the year, teams are being assessed for the Fair Play Award, attributes required for this award are "the team displaying positive spirit, attitude, respect for coaches, referees and fellow team mates and having the best sideline support”  Players, Parents and Coaches should read the Codes of Behaviour to give your team every chance of winning this award.


 

 

Coaching Course- Junior License

Are you interested in knowing a little bit more about coaching soccer, well here is your chance. Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association will be hosting a Junior Licence on the 3rd and 4th of March. For more Information click here


 

JUST FOR KICKS

Do you want to know what soccer is all about?


Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association is running FREE ‘Come and Try’ days at a club near you. These days will allow children aged 4  to 7  (born 2007 to 2005) to experience soccer before signing on for the season.

Experience and qualified coaches will provide a comfortable and accessible environment for those who would like to give it a go.

What to Bring
Joggers, sunscreen, footy socks, hat and water.

Sign on for the season after attending a come and try day and receive a kit bag.

As places are limited please preregister by the 23rd January to the Club or SCCSA Admin

Referees Course 2012

Date:                  25th and 26th Feb 2012

Venue:               Siena Catholic College

Time:                 9am to 3pm both days

Cost:                 $30 per participant, Participants must be turning 14 years old to do the course.

                         Once you have passed the course there is a registration fee of $100 for seniors referees and $60 for junior referees

What to bring:    Joggers, pen or pencil, notebook, water, food, Suncreen and a hat

Registration:      There are limited places available so it will be first in basis. Email Lynne Reeves

Sign On 2012

We welcome all past and future players to SIGN ON for the 2012 season. 

Club Sign On Saturday 11th February, Between 9am to 12pm

All new players need to bring along Birth Certificate or Passport.

this award are "the team displaying positive spirit, attitude, respect for coaches, referees and fellow team mates and
haveing the best sideline support". Players, Parents and Coaches should read the Codes of Behaviour to give your
team every chance of winning this award.

No DogsNo smoking

We advise that no dogs are permitted at any games or training sessions. 

    Smoking is not permitted in any school grounds or within metres of playing fields, canteens etc.

 


 

RESPECT FOR REFEREES

The SCCSA has Zero tolerance of abuse towards referees.  Parents are reminded that they could jeopardise their team from winning the Fair Play Award as they are being assessed in the points system.  Respect towards referees is paramount, would you abuse your child in this way?  Remember the game is there for the children.


WET WEATHER

Just because it is raining does not mean your game has been cancelled. Players & Parents keep an eye on the website and/or listen to 106.5 Rhema FM on Saturday morning between 7.00 and 8.00 am or telephone your coach/manager.

IMPORTANT INFO Could all Coaches and Managers make sure that players do not warm up on the fields as we must do all we can to protect them.
