Fair Play Award
Throughout the year, teams are being assessed for the Fair Play Award, attributes required for this award are "the team displaying positive spirit, attitude, respect for coaches, referees and fellow team mates and having the best sideline support” Players, Parents and Coaches should read the Codes of Behaviour to give your team every chance of winning this award.

WET WEATHER
Just because it is raining does not mean your game has been cancelled. Players & Parents keep an eye on the website and/or listen to 106.5 Rhema FM on Saturday morning between 7.30 and 8.00 am or telephone your coach/manager.
IMPORTANT INFO Could all Coaches and Managers make sure that players do not warm up on the fields as we must do all we can to protect them.
Senior Soccer Friday night
Owing to the current state of grounds and the impending additional rain over the next couple of days, we are cancelling the pre-season opportunity for this Friday 12-03-10, stay tuned for further developments.

The Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association welcomes all players to what is going to be another great season.
Carnivals
U6 to U8 teams will still be participating in carnivals this weekend. (13th March) The Carnivals are compulsory for all teams in this age group. The draw is under Events, Carnivals then select your age group. The Carnival fee is $5.00 per player. Please check the website regularly for updates as the Weather Forecast is predicating rain which may cause these carnivals to be cancelled.
U9 & U10 Carnivals have been cancelled due to the field conditions at hosting clubs.

Soccer Sign 2010
Soccer sign on has been a great success, however some teams have vacancies. If you haven't signed on we recommend you contact a club near you as soon as possible. New players to supply proof of birthdate, eg. Birth Certificate, Passport etc.

Smoking is not permitted in any school grounds or within metres of playing fields, canteens etc.
RESPECT FOR REFEREES
The SCCSA has Zero tolerance of abuse towards referees. Parents are reminded that they could jeopardise their team from winning the Fair Play Award as they are being assessed in the points system. Respect towards referees is paramount, would you abuse your child in this way? Remember the game is there for the children.
